CHeRP has close ties to Boston Children’s Hospital, one of the nation’s premier institutions in pediatric research and teaching. This connection allows us to participate in educational opportunities for fellows and junior investigators interested in pediatric health services research.
Pediatric Health Services Research Fellowship – The principal goal of this Boston Children’s Hospital two-year program is to develop expert investigators whose research will fundamentally improve the capacity of the U.S. healthcare system to meet the needs of children and families, including socio-economically disadvantaged and minority populations.
Mentored Career Development for Child and Family Centered Outcomes Research – CHeRP faculty participate in an AHRQ-funded K12 program through Boston Children’s Hospital. This career development program leverages a broad and diverse Harvard faculty with two decades of experience in training child health researchers, and specific experience in training investigators in methods of comparative effectiveness research. The program has a particular focus on improving health care delivery and community-based interventions.
